About our Products
We believe vibrant plants make potent herbal extracts. Using biodynamic methods, we grow many of the plants that are used in our products. In addition to growing plants, we obtain plants from organic and certified organic growers. Some plants are wildharvested from our region using appropriate wildharvesting methods. See our Farming and Production section for more information. We source out imported plants which are tested. We do not test on animals and we do not use synthetic ingredients or preservatives in our products.
About the Ingredients in Our Products
Our products are made with USP grain alcohol.
If glycerin is used it is Kosher vegetable glycerin. All flavorings we use are made in our laboratory, with organic and certified organic botanicals.
Essential oils used in our products are organic, certified organic or wildharvested origins. Some essential oils are extracted in our laboratory.
The vegetable oils used in our body care products are cold pressed oils from organic sources which have not been processed using chemicals.
About our Herbal Blends and Single Extracts
Some of our blends were formulated by David Hoffmann, FNIMH, AHG, and we recommend his many books if you are not familiar with herbs and are looking for a source of information. Other herbal blends are from traditional American formulations and southwestern regional herbalism, using our own proprietary methods and improvements.
